Act Beyond
AKIPIA is an investment group founded by Michal Strnad together with two partners, Tomáš Brzobohatý and Marek Šmrha.
With a permanent capital base, we invest with discipline, conviction and a long-term perspective. Patience and tenacity define the way we seek out opportunities.

We invest independently and with like-minded investors across all sectors except defence.
Founding investors
Michal Strnad is the lead investor in AKIPIA Group. He is a Czech entrepreneur and the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the CSG Group. At AKIPIA, he focuses on the strategic direction of investments, which are always made outside the defence industry.
About Michal StrnadTomáš is a founding investor in AKIPIA Group. He is a senior investment advisor with extensive experience in complex transactions and corporate transformations. A longtime advisor to Petr Kellner and PPF, he played a key role in landmark transactions involving TV Nova, Generali PPF, Telefónica O2 and Telenor CEE.
Marek is a founding investor and Managing Partner of the AKIPIA Group. He brings extensive experience in investment decision-making and portfolio management. At Penta, he led a number of significant investment and transformation projects, including the restructuring and sale of Aero Vodochody and the international expansion of Fortuna Entertainment Group.

Strategic investment in Pirelli
In July 2026, Lumina Crown acquired approximately 14% of the share capital of Pirelli. The AKIPIA Investment Group team played a key role in originating, structuring and executing the transaction.
Bubny-Zátory: A New Prague District
AKIPIA investment group is a key investor in the development of Bubny-Zátory, a new urban district in Prague, holding a 35% stake in the project company HoldCo Bubny. The project is led by Penta Real Estate as lead developer, with J&T as a financial partner.
Roma Tower: A New Landmark in Warsaw
AKIPIA Investment Group has joined the development of Roma Tower, one of Poland’s most luxurious residential skyscrapers, as lead investor. Rising to 170 metres in the heart of Warsaw.
