Strategic investment in Pirelli

In July 2026, Lumina Crown, an independent Czech private investment company founded by entrepreneur and investor Michal Strnad, acquired 151,883,471 shares of Pirelli & C. S.p.A., approximately 14% of its share capital. With this investment, Lumina Crown became Pirelli’s third-largest shareholder.
The then newly formed AKIPIA investment group team played a key role in originating, structuring and executing the transaction.
The transaction represented the most significant change in Pirelli’s shareholder structure since the company’s return to public markets in 2017 and an important step in diversifying its shareholder base.
