Michal Strnad is a Czech entrepreneur and the lead investor in AKIPIA Group, which he founded in August 2026 together with two partners, Tomáš Brzobohatý and Marek Šmrha.
The group invests across borders, with discipline, conviction and a long-term perspective.
In addition to his role at AKIPIA, Michal is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the CSG Group, a globally operating industrial and technology group active mainly in the automotive, railway, aerospace and defence industries. Michal’s ambition here is to build a globally significant industrial group whose products and services contribute to the defense of fundamental civilization values.
In January 2026, Michal Strnad led CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP to a successful listing on Euronext Amsterdam, which ranked among the largest defense IPOs in history by both capital raised and market capitalization.
The IPO marked one of the most significant milestones in CSG’s history and confirmed its transformation into a global company trusted by international investors.
Together with partners in AKIPIA Group, Michal seeks long-term investments with enduring value outside the defence sector.
